The incident has been resolved
As we are not a Crowdstrike user, we remained unaffected by this outage. Regardless, we recognised that any number of vendors or subprocessors of Willo may have been impacted by this incident which could have resulted in an impact to Willo's service. As a result of the incident now being addressed, we are comfortable that any risk has been addressed and we are now closing this incident.
We are aware of a global IT outage which is affecting many organisations around the world. Details of the organisations affected can be seen here: https://downdetector.co.uk/ As it stands, the Willo service remains unaffected, however we will continue to monitor and test the system to ensure that service is maintained.
This is our bi-monthly update to the platform where we introduce various performance improvements and new features. We do not anticipate any downtime but please be aware that accessing the platform during this maintenance window may be impacted. To avoid being impacted by this scheduled update we suggest you limit your use of the Willo platform during this short period of time. As part of the upgrade routine, we will be carrying out database maintenance work. This work result in service interruption during the maintenance window. We are currently experiencing slower than usual database performance, though the system remains available. We have identified the root cause of the problem and our engineering team is working on a fix.
